Made By Me

Bang-Up Betty started as a big mess in my living room floor in March of 2013. I’ve always been pretty crafty, and my first job was at my local bead store, so I knew quite a bit about making jewelry, though I didn’t possess too much finesse at the time. I wanted to make funny, cheeky jewelry for my sailor-mouthed friends, so I picked up a set of stamps, my dad’s old hammer and got to stamping. Twelve years, several smashed fingers, and a lot of tears later, Bang-Up Betty, Inc., ships handmade jewelry from Arkansas all over the United States and the world.

Watch Me Behind the Scenes

You can find Bang-Up Betty jewelry and apparel in boutiques across the United States. Bang-Up Betty jewelry designs have been featured in Bust Magazine, Cake & Whiskey Magazine, Side Hustle School by Chris Gillibeau, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, The Frisky, POPSUGAR, Bustle, and more.

Bang-Up Betty jewelry is a ten-time winner of Arkansas Times's "Best of Arkansas" in the artisan crafter category and 2018 winner of AY's Best for artisan.

Oh! And Betty isn't my name. Betty was my cat. My name is Stacey. But Betty is a huge little part of Bang-Up Betty and he used to hang around the studio a lot. You can see him in action in the video below. Sadly, he crossed the Rainbow Bridge in April 2019, but you can read his life story here.

Bang-up Betty's creations are not the usual jewelry made in Arkansas.
