The Hera Peacock Necklace

The Hera Peacock Necklace

$70.00

Hera was the queen of the ancient Greek gods and worshipped as the protector of marriage and  married women. Her daughter, Ilithyia, helped women in childbirth. Married to Zeus, king of the gods, an infamous skirt-chaser, Hera knew how to hold a grudge. You just didn’t cross Hera. Hera’s symbol is the beautiful peacock, which I’ve used to represent her in the Hera Necklace.

This gorgeous, hand-cast bronze peacock medallion is cast with 11 pale blue, round-cut cubic zirconia stones that are set by hand and cast directly into the metal, set into the eye of each of the peacock’s feathers. The handmade peacock charm measures approximately 3/4 inch across and is connected to an approximately 16-inch 14K gold-filled chain that can be ordered at 18 inches as well. This necklace is available in .999 fine silver upon request.

This necklace is so regal, it’s fit for a queen of the gods.

Because of the unique nature of handmade jewelry, each piece of bronze or silver jewelry may be have very slight variations. This jewelry is handmade in my North Little Rock, Arkansas, studio.
