There aren’t many things as delicious to me as opening a new book, and that is the inspiration behind these little book necklaces that open up to reveal handpicked quotes by some of my favorite authors or can be customized to say something special and important to you or the loved one you’re gifting this necklace to. I drew inspiration from antique book covers and old journal covers when sculpting the front and back cover of this book. I wanted it to feel like a well-loved diary. When you flip open the front cover, there is a page inside on which is a hand-stamped quote, stamped letter by letter, or if you’d rather your book say a short message or secret, there is an option at checkout to input what you would like it to say (please be mindful of the word count, and that no special characters are available). The gold-colored book covers are solid cast bronze with stamped brass pages inside, and the silver-colored books are solid sterling silver covers with a polished stamped aluminum page within. The chains are also customizable, with many decorative rosary chains available in gold-plate as well as a classic 14k gold-filled hypoallergenic cable chain. For sterling silver chains, you may choose between a classic cable chain in sterling silver or a paperclip chain in sterling silver; both options are nickel-free.
